Two weeks left for the CSI4*/2* A Coruña
On July 19th, 20th and 21st, the Casas Novas Equestrian Center will host the thirty-eighth edition of the Coruña International Jumping Competition, which, on this occasion, includes in its sports program a CSI2* in addition to the CSI4*.
The answer from the riders could not be better, and the waiting list is already open for those who have not yet registered. The deadline will remain open until next Sunday 7th July.
Over the three days of competition, 12 classes will be held, 6 will be part of the CSI2* program with heights from 1.25m to 1.40m (class scoring for the Longines Fei Ranking) and 6 will be part of the CSI4* with jumps from 1.45m to 1.60m and , all of them, scoring for the Longines Ranking FEI.
Around 100 riders from 18 different nationalities, and 150 horses will participate in the competition, one of the most successful international competitions of the summer of that has already 19 editions behind it and another 18 in its CSI5* winter edition.
In total, more than 290,000 euros will be distributed in prizes with an assignment for the Caixabank Grand Prix of 93,500 euros.
Names such as Gerco Schroder, Michel Robert, Thomas Frühmann, Laura Kraut, Kent Farrington, Leopold Van Asten and Julien Epaillard have maked the anthem sound at the Grand Prix of this summer event, a classic of the herculin city.
In addition to the competition, public and riders will be able to have a good time with the betting, enjoying the commercial village and, for the little ones, the Little Riders Corner by Massimo Dutti, a unique space with workshops and ponies that will make them feel great riders for a day.
