Promising young riders will meet at Casas Novas
The international competition has in its lists of great U-25 riders
The CSI Casas Novas, which will be held on July 12, 13 and 14, will bring together great international equestrian promises that will seek to continue climbing positions in their professional careers. Both the CSI4* and CSI1* events, which the public will be able to enjoy next weekend, have on their lists names to be taken into account in the future and present of this sport.
Within the CSI4* category, one of the outstanding names if we talk about U-25 riders is Diego Ramos Maneiro. The young local rider is the only Spanish rider in this category, in which he will try to enjoy the advantage of playing at home.
Alongside him, we find more names of young promises of international equestrianism such as Emilie Conter, Belgian rider ranked 31st in the Longines FEI Ranking
U-25, or Jennifer Hochstaedter, a 21-year-old rider from Liechtenstein, who came third this year in the 5* Grand Prix de Fontainebleau. The list of U-25 competitors in the CSI4* is closed by the Norwegian Ingrid Gjelsten and the 23-year-old Belgian Thibault Philippaerts, who, after his excellent performances this weekend, won the trophy for the best U-25 rider at the CSI 3* Maeza.
If we look at the CSI1* events, young talent multiplies as usual, finding a large number of U-25 riders looking to gain experience in this type of competitions. Names such as Carolina Villanueva, a rider who already has a great career despite her 23 years of age, Lucas López Benito, only 16 years old, or the sisters Carmen and Pilar Mateos de Urbina, among others, stand out.
